GEROLYMATOS INTERNATIONAL S.A. and JOY GROUP entered into an agreement for the sale of GI’s Italian affiliate FOLTENE LABORATORIES SRL, and the transaction was completed as of July 31(st), 2025.
Since 2006, GEROLYMATOS ΙNTERNATIONAL S.A. -through a connected company- has held full ownership of FOLTENE LABORATORIES SRL. Throughout its operations, FOLTENE has remained fully committed to upholding the brand’ s reputation for innovation, efficacy and reliability, despite operating within a highly competitive global hair care sector dominated by major multinational brands and dynamic local players.
The brand’ s strong equity, rich heritage, and extensive international presence, were key factors that drove the Buyer’s strong interest and ultimately led to the acquisition.
